Wonderland is the first ever large-scale immersive exhibition celebrating the timeless stories of Lewis Carroll.

The exhibition reveals the power of storytelling and the moving image, exploring Alice’s adventures across time, cultures and media. Audiences engage with Alice interactively through the evolution of special effects; from pre-cinema and silent films, to animation, puppetry, live action and CGI.

Wonderland was built as a touring exhibition, so far travelling from it’s native ACMI Melbourne to the ArtScience Museum Singapore, and Te Papa, Wellington, NZ.

Included in the design was an extensive manual to aid the touring team.

The Lume Melbourne is Australia’s first permanent digital art gallery. The first exhibition is Van Gogh. I designed 3 sections: The Cafe, based on Van Goghs “Café Terrace at Night”, the bedroom and the infinity sunflower room.

In 2019 I was tasked with designing a container bar for a wedding venue in Ballarat Victoria.

We used mainly solid Vic Ash timber and black film face birch plywood. We did however create a CNC cut box for all the uprights to organise the cutting and installation.

For the 2019 MTC production of Lady in the Van I was tasked with making 2 full size plywood Bedford vans.

Apart from the steel frame everything from the floor up was plywood. All doors were even operational.

Fortress is the largest video game and Esports venue in the Southern Hemisphere. We were tasked with designing many elements of the Tavern, a medieval styled pub bar and restaurant, with gaming stations scattered around. I designed the bookcase, fireplace and 6 gaming booths.

TV commercial for Truce Films

Kachet’s striking Tree coffee table celebrates modern design and the organic beauty of nature combined in an exquisite piece of furniture. The table’s designed to be the centerpiece of a living room or corporate foyer and is sure to be a conversation starter.

The Tree’s “branches” are precision cut, while the cantilevered shape gives the impression of an organic sculpture. Minimal wastage is achieved via the cutting sheets’ design, and the table is flat packable for easy shipping. The Tree uses no glue and has custom designed hardware including an integrated magnetized tool.

From 2016 - 2022 I was head designer for the company that produced all the Holey Moley mini golf venues.

We produced 150+ different designs over 30+ venues over Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.

For the first season of LEGO Masters Australia we employed to design and build the “Brick Pit”. A giant pantry for the contestants to get their bricks.

Pawn & Co is a unique party bar, nightclub and pawn shop with eclectic decor, mixing inventive cocktails in Prahran, Melbourne.

I was asked to design the booth seating as “steampunk Victorian era trams” plus an organ bar and DJ stand.

The fit-out won Silver at the 2019 Melbourne Design Awards in the Hospitality category .

For a Dan Murphy’s promotion I designed and built a giant pencil.

TV commercial for Truce Films

I was employed to design a modular conference centre to be used in a popular wedding/conference venue in the Yarra Valley, Victoria. The installation had to be packed await every Friday to make way for the weekend weddings and then be set up again on the Monday.

A one night fashion show set for CHANEL.

Storyville is a cocktail bar and club in Melbourne. I was asked to design a storybook themed private room for the top floor. With the help of some amazing painters we created a book wall, booth seating and even an ink pot DJ stand.

During 2007 and into 2008 i was employed as a senior prop maker on "The Pacific". From constructing life size tanks out of aluminium and fibre glass to cutting DC3's in half, the job included some amazing builds.

Builds included, 2 x LVT-4 amphibious tanks, a LCVP Higgins Boat, fibreglass life rafts and the DC3 which we also moulded and cast tailplanes for.

For a Chum dog food TV commercial I was asked to create 3 dog bowls, a standard size, a miniature and a bigature…

Working with a Arteria Graphic Design and Plot media, i was responsible for the design, build and installation of the permanent exhibit "unsung Heroes" at the Temora Aviation Museum in NSW.

It involved a dressing of the area to reflect a world war II mess hall and the design and construction of 4 iPad kiosks where visitors could view interviews with ex airforce pilots.

The Accident is a black comedy by award-winning filmmakers Abigail Hargrave and Lei-Lani Terrell.

As Amelia drives her friends up the snowy mountain road to Mt Buller, Victoria she recounts the story of a car accident that her family was involved in on the same road 20 years earlier. The accident informs so much of her family memories that even though it happened before she was born she feels as though she remembers it.

Prank Patrol keeps the pranks and laughs coming, as Aussie kids get the chance to pull off the prank of a lifetime on their unsuspecting friends.

The Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health is one of the largest and highly respected brain research centres in the world. I created a brain for their television campaign.
